Olga Korsun Fails to Qualify in Triple Jump at World Championships

Athlete Olga Korsun did not manage to qualify in the triple jump at the World Championships 2025 held in Tokyo, Japan.
Her best attempt was 13.40 meters, with two attempts resulting in fouls. As a result, she finished 16th in Group A and 32nd overall, which was not enough to advance to the finals.
This was Korsun's first appearance at the World Championships. Previously, she did not qualify for the 2024 Olympics and placed 11th at the 2024 European Championships.
Meanwhile, Mykhailo Kokhan successfully advanced to the final in hammer throw. Marina Kylipko and Yana Hladichuk could not make it to the pole vault finals: Kylipko stopped at 4.45 m, while Hladichuk failed to clear the starting height of 4.25 m. To qualify for the finals, a jump of 4.60 m was required.
