The World Archery Championship has concluded in South Korea. In the women’s category, 123 athletes from various countries competed. Among the top eight was Anastasia Pavlova.

She secured 7th place, being the sole representative from Europe in the top 8. This is a significant achievement for Ukraine and Kherson region.

The road to the finals was challenging:

• In the 1/16 finals, Anastasia defeated Brazilian athlete Sliachticas Caetano Ana Luiza 7:1;
• In the 1/8 finals, she overcame Spanish competitor Unamunzaga Altuna Irati 7:3;
• In the quarterfinals, she faced a representative from China and lost with a score of 2:6.

In team events, Anastasia also showed commendable results. Among women, she finished 11th out of 32 teams, and in mixed events, she achieved 4th place out of 43 teams. In the Olympic round, the Ukrainian team took 9th place, while the duo Pavlova-Gunbin finished 7th.
