The Ukrainian wheelchair fencing team, consisting of 13 athletes, showcased impressive performances at the World Para Fencing Championship held from September 2 to 7 in Iksan, South Korea, featuring participation from 28 countries. Ukraine achieved a remarkable total of 7 medals: 2 gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze, securing third place overall in the championship standings. The Chinese team topped the results, with Italy following closely behind on equal points.
On the penultimate day, Elena Fedota-Isaeva secured gold in the women's sabre category B, while Oleg Naumenko earned bronze in the men's epee category B, marking a triumphant conclusion for Ukrainian athletes at the 2025 World Championship.
Eight athletes are returning home with medals, four of whom are multi-medalists.
