On the final day of the European Junior Championships held in Tampere, Finland, Ukrainian athletes clinched two medals.

Angelina Shepel earned a silver medal in shot put, achieving a personal best of 15.62 m.

Diana Miroshnichenko secured a bronze in the long jump with a result of 6.37 m.

Overall, the Ukrainian team won 3 medals at the U20 European Championships. The day before, Uliana Stepanuk also made headlines by winning a bronze medal in the 100 m sprint.
