The Ukrainian national teams for sitting volleyball have achieved remarkable success by winning bronze medals at the European Championships!

Both our men's and women's teams finished third in the competition held in the Hungarian city of Győr, featuring 12 men's teams and 9 women's teams.

The women's team secured victory against Slovenia in the bronze medal match with a score of 3:1, while the men's team triumphed over Serbia with a score of 3:0.

Yaroslava Lakatosh was named the best defender of the European Championship, and Antonina Zhuk was recognized as the best attacker.

Both Ukrainian teams earned slots as the top three teams (men's and women's) for participation in the 2026 World Championship in sitting volleyball, scheduled to take place in Hangzhou, China.
