Ukraine U-20 Team Faces Defeat Against Czech Republic in EuroBasket

The Ukraine U-20 men's team lost to the Czech Republic in a match for places 9-16 at the European Championship.

On July 17, the Ukrainian U-20 men's team played against the Czech Republic in the match for 9-16 places at the EuroBasket Championship in Division A.

Unfortunately, the "Blue-Yellows" lost with a score of 65:85.

Now Ukraine will fight for positions 13-16, while the Czech team aims for places 9-12.

It is important to note that during the match, Ukrainian player Maksym Klychko suffered an injury. He landed on an opponent's foot in the fourth quarter and had to leave the game early.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian youth team ended the group stage with three losses. The "Blue-Yellows" lost to Germany (62:64), Belgium (55:65), and Italy (60:80), finishing last in Group C. In the 1/8 stage, the Ukrainian team was also defeated by Serbia.
