Ukraine's Women's 3x3 Basketball Team Enters Top-5

The national women's 3x3 basketball team of Ukraine has achieved a milestone by entering the top-5 after the tournament in Bucharest.

The national women's 3x3 basketball team of Ukraine has climbed into the top-5 of the overall standings of the Women’s 3x3 Series following the event in Bucharest.

In Romania, the Ukrainian team finished fourth, reaching the semifinals for the third time this season.

Previously, in their first stage of the season in Vienna, the team also placed fourth, losing to the Netherlands in the semifinals. In Ulaanbaatar, the Ukrainians again fell to the future champions from Australia in the semifinals, but ultimately secured a third-place finish at that stage.

In total, over three stages, the women's team of Ukraine 3x3 has accumulated 190 points (70 in Ulaanbaatar and 60 in Vienna and Bucharest) and holds fourth place in the overall standings of the Women’s 3x3 Series this season.

Last year, the national women's team participated in five stages of the Women’s 3x3 Series, finishing second in Ulaanbaatar and third in Poitiers.

As a result of their performances throughout the season, Ukraine earned 270 points, which allowed them to place 13th in the overall table – the best result for Ukraine in the Women’s 3x3 Series.

Previously, the Ukrainian team faced defeat in the semifinals of the Women’s 3x3 Series.
