On July 13, the Ukrainian Triathlon Championship for veterans took place along the Black Sea coast in Odessa.

The competition attracted 283 participants from various cities: Odessa, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Bila Tserkva, Lviv, Dnipro, Zhytomyr, Kryvyi Rih, Khmelnytskyi, and Kharkiv.

The swimming segment (1 km, 2 km, 4 km) was held in the coastal area, from the «Chaika» beach to the yacht club, while the running segment (5 km, 10 km, 20 km) followed the Health Trail.

In the overall standings, Andriy Kushnerov from Kyiv triumphed with a time of 46:13. Sergey Zvyagin finished second (53:18), and local athlete Petro Vasiliev took third place (58:09).

In the «long» aquathlon (2+10 km), the winner was Vadym Maslenikov from Odessa with a time of 1:13:01, followed by Kyiv's Sergey Chernyshov (1:14:53) and Sergey Yanchycher (1:16:35).

In the «Standard» aquathlon (1+5 km), the victor was Andriy Pechenyi from Kyiv (33:28), with Semen Tereshchenko following closely behind (34:07), and Odessa's Denys Polyakov securing bronze (35:08).

Among women, all podium spots were claimed by athletes from Kyiv: champion Anastasiya Ihnatkina, second place went to Nadiya Somina, and third to Iryna Krotova.

The event was organized by the Odessa Triathlon Federation with the support of the Odessa City Council.
