A charity boxing event in Odesa featured the auction of a battle saber belonging to Olympic champion Elena Kravatska. The unique piece was sold for 230,000 hryvnias.

Elena Kravatska shared the news on her Instagram page, mentioning that the saber was a “real one, used in battles.” It was sold for 230,000 hryvnias.

Half of the money raised will be directed to the “Khimera” unit, which protects Ukraine on the front lines, while the other portion will assist children from orphanages, including the purchase and delivery of necessary items organized by Kravatska's team in collaboration with the “Energy of Good” foundation.

“Where sports transform into a force for good. Where one can smile and help,” commented the fencer.

Elena Kravatska was born in Netishyn but has lived and trained in Odesa since her teenage years. It was here that her career began, earning her medals at world and European championships as well as the Olympic Games.
