The vice-champion of Ukraine in hockey, Kyiv Capitals, has announced its intention to compete in the Baltic League for the 2025/26 season.

This was reported by the team's press service.

"Our decision to participate in the 2025/2026 Baltic Hockey League marks a significant step in our strategic development. We have already received full support from the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) and the Latvian Ice Hockey Federation (LHF), which organizes the tournament," stated the announcement.
