At the latest Diamond League event in Paris, Ukrainian athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh once again climbed the podium.
Two Ukrainian athletes, Yuliya Levchenko and Yaroslava Mahuchikh, participated in the competition. Their main rivals were Australian athletes Nicola Olyslagers and Eleanor Patterson, who recently won medals at the World Championships.
Yuliya Levchenko started the competition by clearing 1.83 m on her first attempt but failed to clear 1.88 m. She then opted to attempt 1.91 m but could not achieve that height, finishing in 11th place.
Yaroslava Mahuchikh confidently cleared 1.91 m. However, she faced challenges at 1.94 m, failing her first two attempts but successfully clearing 1.97 m on her last attempt. Her Australian competitors also cleared this mark.
Only Mahuchikh and the Australians remained at the 2-meter height. Both Patterson and Mahuchikh failed to clear it, while Olyslagers successfully completed her second attempt.
Thus, Olyslagers took first place, Mahuchikh secured second, and Patterson finished third.
