Alexander Hudyma — the silver medalist of the Youth World Cup in mountain biking!
This Ukrainian cyclist secured the second place in short track cross-country for athletes under 23 at the World Cup stage held in Leogang (Austria).
Representing the Dutch team KMC Ridley MTB Racing Team, Alexander finished with a time of 23 minutes and 46 seconds. He was just 5 seconds shy of the gold medal, which went to Swiss rider Finn Troydler. The bronze went to Paul Schell from Germany.
This is Alexander's second World Cup medal, following his bronze from three years ago in Brazil.
