Ukraine's top tennis player, Elina Svitolina, spoke about the possible timing of her retirement from professional sports.

The Tennis Letter reported her words.

"I don't want to play as long as Gael. I just want a happy retirement and to play less. It's really tough to be on tour for so many years. Sometimes it gets lonely.

There are tough moments. I have many interests outside of tennis and wouldn't mind stopping before Gael," Svitolina shared.

It is noteworthy that the tennis player is currently only 30 years old, while her husband, Gael Monfils, is 38.

Recently, Elina Svitolina concluded her participation in Roland Garros, losing to Iga Swiatek.
