The Ukrainian women's team claimed three medals at the European Checkers Championship held in Brussels, Belgium.

This has been reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

In the women's rapid play competition, silver was won by Kharkiv’s Anastasia Hlushko, while bronze went to Odesa’s Viktoriya Motrychko. The winner in the rapid was Poland's Natalia Sadovska.

Motrychko also earned another bronze in blitz, where the victory belonged to Latvia's Zoya Golubeva, and silver was claimed by Poland's Marta Bankovska.

It is worth noting that in April, Viktoriya Motrychko won a stage of the World Cup in checkers-100 in the Netherlands.
