Aleksandr Bondarev, a pilot from the Williams Academy and Prema Racing team, showcased his skills during the second stage of Formula-4 in Misano.

The 16-year-old from Kyiv started the race in sixth place and engaged actively in a battle for fifth, but was unable to reach that position by the end of the race.

Ultimately, Bondarev finished sixth overall and emerged as the top rookie, earning his first podium in the Italian Formula-4 along with valuable points.

This year marked the first time the Ukrainian national anthem played in the Italian Formula-4 in honor of Alexander's achievement.

After a less successful first race, where he finished outside the points due to damage, the Ukrainian climbed to 11th place overall and 5th among rookies.

Bondarev's team, Prema Racing, confidently leads the Italian F-4 Constructors’ Cup, ahead of competitors by nearly 100 points – 123 points compared to 47 for the German US Racing team.

It is worth noting that the first stage of the Italian Formula-4 is taking place at the Marco Simoncelli International Circuit in Misano, where the championship will conclude with the Grand Prix scheduled from October 10 to 12. A total of 7 stages and 23 races will determine the top drivers, constructors, and rookies of the season.
