On April 13, 2025, the Ukrainian pavilion titled “Not For Sale” was officially inaugurated at the EXPO 2025 in Osaka.
The pavilion features a unique concept of “A Store Where Nothing Can Be Bought,” as reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
Attendees included distinguished guests such as the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Japan, Yoshihiko Okabe, and Japan's Minister of Economy, Kentaro Morita.
On its first day, the pavilion welcomed approximately 5,000 visitors.
Julia Svyrydenko, the Minister of Economy of Ukraine, noted that the pavilion attracted significant attention, leading organizers to deploy traffic regulators.
According to her, the pavilion receives up to 1,500 visitors per hour, and organizers predict that around 23 million people will visit it over the next six months.
This is an important opportunity to showcase Ukraine's values and resilience to the world.

The pavilion displays 18 exhibits, each symbolizing a particular human value, such as freedom, dignity, and resilience.
Each item comes with a real barcode that visitors can scan to view videos showcasing the true “value” of rights such as education, freedom of choice, and access to healthcare.
Adjacent to the main pavilion is the “Values-Driven Economy” zone, featuring products from Ukrainian companies that continue to operate despite the ongoing war.
On April 15, Ukraine will host a series of panel discussions at the UK Pavilion focused on the role of values in the economy.
