A tragic incident occurred in Kyiv when a woman fatally stabbed her partner during a domestic dispute, inflicting around seven stab wounds that resulted in his immediate death. She faces a potential sentence of up to fifteen years in prison.

The police received a report of a murder in a residential building in the Dnipro district. Officers promptly arrived at the scene along with detectives and forensic experts.

Investigators discovered the body of a 34-year-old man showing signs of violent death. It was determined that during the consumption of alcoholic beverages, a conflict arose between the cohabiting couple, culminating in the woman grabbing a kitchen knife and stabbing the man multiple times in the back and chest.

The 38-year-old attacker was apprehended at the scene under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Authorities seized the suspected murder weapon and charged the woman with Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – intentional murder, which carries a penalty of up to fifteen years of imprisonment.
