On Monday, May 26, the Netherlands will finalize the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.

The last of the 24 promised aircraft is scheduled for dispatch tomorrow.

This was announced by Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans, as reported by Hart van Nederland.

“This means that all 24 promised fighter jets will soon be in Ukraine,” he stated.

The minister added that the Netherlands is also training pilots and technicians and sharing military doctrines to help Ukraine build modern armed forces that align with NATO standards.

The Netherlands allocated €150 million to strengthen Ukraine's air defense.

In early April, the country pledged these funds to support the Ukrainians in this priority area.

Additionally, Amsterdam expressed its intention to invest €500 million in a drone production project.
