Ukrainian Delegation Visits Paris

A high-profile Ukrainian delegation arrives in Paris to discuss security and support issues.

Today, April 17, a Ukrainian delegation led by Andriy Yermak, the Head of the President's Office, has arrived in Paris for an official visit. The delegation also includes Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.

Ukrainian delegation in Paris: Meeting with the “Coalition of Willing”

The purpose of the visit is to conduct a series of meetings with representatives of the so-called “Coalition of Willing” countries that have expressed readiness to provide enhanced support to Ukraine, particularly in the security sphere. Yermak announced this on his Telegram channel.

“Just landed in Paris along with Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov”, – he wrote.

He specified that the visit includes “a series of bilateral and multilateral meetings with representatives of the coalition countries capable of guaranteeing security, including France, Germany, and the United Kingdom”.

Moreover, according to Yermak, meetings are also planned with representatives of the United States, who are currently in France.

Outcomes of “Ramstein” on April 11: Key Points

On April 11, a new meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group was held in Brussels in the “Ramstein” format.

The meeting was opened by British Defense Minister John Healey.

Recently, Germany provided Ukraine with 30 Patriot missiles and is preparing to deliver air defense systems, armored vehicles, drones, and other equipment.

During the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting, participating countries committed to increasing military assistance to Ukraine to 21 billion euros.
