A high-profile delegation from Belgium, led by Prime Minister Bart De Wever, arrived in Kyiv on April 8.

The delegation included Foreign Minister Maxim Prevo and Defense Minister Theo Francken, as reported by VRT.

Throughout the day, Belgian officials are scheduled to meet with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and have bilateral discussions at the ministerial level.

The visit aims, according to the Belgian Foreign Ministry, to demonstrate political and military solidarity as well as emphasize international cooperation, hope, and future prospects.
