Ukrainian Defense Minister's Visit to Brussels

On February 11, Ukraine's Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov will travel to Brussels to engage in informal discussions with EU defense ministers during the Foreign Affairs Council meeting focused on defense issues. This information comes from the EU Council press service.
“The next meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council with defense ministers will take place in Brussels (February 11, ed.) at 16:45, chaired by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell,” the statement reads.
The agenda will cover military support for Ukraine from the EU, with a focus on collaboration in defense innovations.
It is noted that the discussion will occur “after an informal exchange of views with Ukraine's Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, who will be present in person.”
Following the Foreign Affairs Council meeting, ministers will informally discuss security and defense prospects for 2026, the press service added.
On February 12, NATO defense ministers will gather in Brussels. The same day, a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group will take place, co-chaired by Germany and the United Kingdom.
