In the French capital, Paris, a significant meeting of national security advisors from various countries took place, including France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Poland, Turkey, along with representatives from the USA, NATO, the European Commission, and the European Council, focusing on security guarantees for Ukraine.

This was reported by Rustem Umerov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, through his Telegram channel.

«Following the instructions of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, and in continuation of the leaders' meeting on January 6, we are advancing discussions with our partners in Paris. We focused on security guarantee parameters, deterring Russian aggression, and the next steps in the peace process», Umerov stated.

The Ukrainian delegation included Umerov, Head of the President's Office Kyrylo Budanov, Lieutenant General Andrii Hnatov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and other representatives from the President's Office.

«It is significant that our approaches are increasingly transitioning from mere political statements to practical solutions. There is a clear understanding of a step-by-step movement towards the implementation of agreements. This kind of work lays the foundation for real and lasting peace», Umerov emphasized.

During the Coalition of Willing meeting, key parameters of security guarantees, Ukraine's role in the architecture of future peace, and the contributions of partners in deterring further aggression were discussed.
