The leaders talked about Ukraine's defense and the Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities and communities. The Australian Prime Minister promised assistance. The President thanked him for this and emphasized that missiles for air defense are needed every day, just like support for Ukrainian defense.
Volodymyr Zelensky informed about the diplomatic situation and upcoming steps, including active engagement within the Coalition of Willing, whose meeting will take place tomorrow in Paris. Australia will be represented there. The head of state also expressed gratitude for the kind words about Ukraine and its people.
The President extended his condolences regarding the terrorist attack at Bondi Beach that occurred last December, where six victims were of Ukrainian descent. Volodymyr Zelensky also expressed solidarity with all the relatives and loved ones of the victims.
