Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha will attend an extraordinary meeting of the EU Council scheduled for Wednesday, November 26, to discuss a peace plan for Ukraine.
This was announced by the minister on social media following a phone conversation with the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs, Kaia Kallas.
Sybiha emphasized that he informed Kallas about the repercussions of Russia's recent attacks on Ukraine, expressed gratitude for the EU's ongoing support, and stressed the need to increase pressure on Russia. They also exchanged views on recent developments in peace efforts and coordinated next steps.
“I am thankful for the invitation to participate in tomorrow's EU Council meeting. This will be a timely opportunity to coordinate efforts to compel Russia to end the war and to strengthen Ukraine's defense and resilience,” the minister wrote.
