Zelensky expressed gratitude to Germany for its support: thousands of Ukrainian lives have been saved thanks to German assistance since the onset of the full-scale war. The supply of air defense systems, defense packages, and support for our resilience are particularly appreciated.
The President also thanked Friedrich Merz for the political backing in establishing an export office for Ukrainian weapons in Berlin. Active work is underway to launch the office, and the leaders agreed to stay in contact.
