US Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Kitt Kellogg, will visit Germany, Belgium, and Ukraine from February 13 to 22, as announced by the US State Department.

When will Envoy Kellogg arrive in Ukraine?

The purpose of this visit is to advance President Donald Trump's strategy aimed at achieving peace through strength in Ukraine and safeguarding US national security interests.

During his trip, Kellogg plans to participate in the Munich Security Conference, visit NATO and EU headquarters in Brussels, and meet with Ukrainian officials and citizens.

The State Department noted that Trump "has made it clear that hostilities must cease, and the United States is prepared to support a long-term solution."

"Special Envoy Kellogg is determined to engage in tough diplomacy that will be necessary to achieve the President's goals," the statement reads.

Trump Confirms Kellogg's Planned Visit to Ukraine

The US President previously stated he would speak with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky this week, and his special envoy Kitt Kellogg would soon visit Kyiv.

The US Administration has paused the development of a peace plan for Ukraine to give Europe a seat at the negotiating table.

Zelensky is expected to attend the Munich Security Conference, where the war with Russia and ways to end it will be key agenda topics.

Envoy Kellogg had earlier stated that Ukraine must be ready to hold elections during wartime.
