Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Sveridenko has commenced a working visit to Denmark.
She announced this on Telegram.
"I traveled with my team to Denmark. The agenda includes meetings with Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Minister of Industry, Business and Finance Morten Bødskov, and leading Danish and international companies," noted Sveridenko.
This is her first foreign visit "in her new capacity to Copenhagen, as Denmark is currently holding the EU Council presidency. We expect that the opening of the first negotiation clusters will be our joint achievement."
Before the important negotiations with the European Union in September, it is crucial to make the most efficient use of time for making decisions, emphasized the head of government.
She expressed gratitude to Denmark for its consistent and principled support for Ukraine.
During the first official meeting, Minister Bødskov announced Denmark's intention to contribute at least 500 million Danish kroner to the Fund for Ukraine for reconstruction projects, Sveridenko highlighted.
As the Prime Minister reminded, since the beginning of the full-scale aggression, Denmark has stood by and continued to assist. Overall, Ukraine has received about 9 billion euros in military aid and 907 million euros in civilian contributions from the Danish government and people.
