On June 17, the G7 summit will focus on the theme "A Strong and Sovereign Ukraine", with the participation of invited leaders from outside the G7.
The agenda for June 17 begins with a formal welcome to the invited leaders, followed by a working breakfast of the G7 focused on the topic of "A Strong and Sovereign Ukraine".
Following this, a concluding G7 session and a working lunch on "Energy Security" will wrap up the summit.
On Monday, June 16, four working sessions will cover topics such as "Global Economic Prospects", "Economic Growth, Security, and Resilience", "Ensuring Community Safety", and "Making the World Safe".
As reported by "European Truth", Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has received an invitation to the G7 summit in Canada.
It is expected that the G7 leaders will discuss lowering the price cap on Russian oil as part of joint sanctions against Russia, a move opposed by the United States.
The European Union has included this reduction in a new sanctions package against Russia.
Most G7 countries are prepared to lower the price ceiling on Russian oil, even if the United States opts out of this initiative.
