President Volodymyr Zelensky has made the decision to appoint Alona Hetmanchuk as the new head of Ukraine's mission to NATO, replacing Natalia Halibarenko.

On June 13, Zelensky dismissed Halibarenko from her position, and on the same day appointed Hetmanchuk.

Alona Hetmanchuk is a specialist in American studies, the director of the "New Europe" Center, an associated senior analyst at the Atlantic Council of the USA, and a regular contributor to "European Truth".
