For over a day, rescue teams have been working to clear the rubble in Kyiv following a massive missile attack by Russia.
In addition to humans, they have also rescued furry pets, including cats and even a hedgehog.
Images of the rescues were published by the State Emergency Service.
They also shared heartwarming moments of the pets reuniting with their owners.
"Every life matters! For more than 20 hours, these terrified little ones awaited rescue under the debris! They were found in a place where it seemed life had already faded away...
The emotions of one cat's owner are hard to express in words. These are tears of joy, as this gray fluff, a part of the family, is alive! And this morning, the rescuers found a small spiky nose – a hedgehog," the rescuers reported.
