A three-year-old girl from Budky, Ternopil region, wandered off towards the woods and got lost. She was found in a neighboring region after more than five hours.

The rescue services received the report of the child's disappearance on April 21, as stated by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The search operation was launched immediately, involving police forces as well.

After over five hours, the girl was located between Kruki and Kopani in Rivne region. She had traveled 10 kilometers through forest trails on her own.

The State Emergency Service assured that her health and life are not in danger.

It's worth noting that in March, rescuers in Vinnytsia rescued a three-year-old boy who got lost and spent a night in a ravine at a local dump, keeping warm next to his dog.
