On April 15, World Art Day, a ceremonial presentation of a new commemorative coin titled “The World of Couture Art. Love Panchenko” took place, honoring the multifaceted personality of the distinguished artist and designer, a figure of the sixties.
This was reported by the National Bank of Ukraine.
The commemorative coin “The World of Couture Art. Love Panchenko” has a face value of 10 hryvnias. It is made of 925 silver, with a mint quality category of “special uncirculated,” and the weight of the precious metal in purity is 31.1 g, with a diameter of 38.6 mm. The edge of the coin is smooth with recessed inscriptions indicating the metal, its grade, and the logo of the Banknote and Minting Factory.
The obverse of the coin features a stylized portrait of Love Panchenko, framed by elements of her famous work “Bucha Spring.”
The artist's gaze, filled with creative energy and freedom, seems to penetrate through time and space, symbolizing strength and devotion to ideals. The composition highlights the close connection of the artist with her homeland.
“Bucha Spring” is not just a painting; it is a unique manifesto of beauty and resilience, as it was in Bucha where the artist was born and lived. This image is forever etched in the memory of the city and in the hearts of her admirers, becoming a symbol of faith in revival.
