On train No. 115 connecting Sumy and Kyiv, a fire broke out near the Putyvl station.
This was reported by the press service of "Ukrzaliznytsia".
"Due to the fire, a railway worker lost their life, but there were no injuries among passengers. The fire has been contained, and the causes are being investigated", the statement reads.
It was noted that the train continued its journey to Kyiv without four detached carriages. All passengers were transferred to available seats in other carriages.
According to UZ, the delay is about 1 hour, but it will be reduced.
Reminder:
In early April, the enemy launched an attack on the city of Semenivka, located near the Ukrainian-Russian border in the Chernihiv region, which resulted in damage to the local station.
