In the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, a 22-year-old young man posted a TikTok video where he and his friends exited a limousine to the tune of Russian music.

The police tracked him down and drafted an administrative protocol for minor hooliganism, according to the Kyiv police.

"During the monitoring of social media, law enforcement found a video in which a group of young people showed off their behavior while getting out of a limousine in the city center to the sound of Russian songs," the statement said.

Employees of the Shevchenko Police Department discovered that the video’s author was a 22-year-old Kyiv resident, who was invited to the police station.

"During the conversation with the police, he explained that the original video had no music, but when posting it on TikTok, he decided to add songs by a Russian artist for more attention," the police explained.

The young man was charged under Article 173 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses for minor hooliganism. The penalty for this article ranges from 51 to 119 UAH in fines.

Recently, police in Kyiv, together with the SBU, identified individuals who were listening to Russian music in the Podil area and ignored passersby’s remarks.

In particular, one woman approached the group and commented that listening to Russian music was inappropriate, as on that day, Russians had struck Sumy. The boys laughed and turned up the volume.

They were also charged with minor hooliganism and alcohol consumption.
