On April 15, the police received a report about a German shepherd that was attacking passersby in the streets of the city, as reported by the Mykolaiv regional police.
Upon arriving at the scene, response officers witnessed the dog attacking the boy.

The police explained that current legislation allows officers to use firearms against animals that threaten the life or health of people.
As a result of the attack, the boy sustained minor injuries, including abrasions and bruises. He was taken to the hospital for necessary medical care, and his life is no longer in danger.
