Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, made an unexpected visit to Ukraine, where he toured the Superhumans Center, a facility dedicated to the treatment and rehabilitation of military personnel.

This was reported by Andriy Stavnytsky on Facebook.

Harry served for a decade in the British Army, including two deployments to Afghanistan, where he lost close friends. As a public figure, he has made significant contributions to raising awareness for veterans globally. In 2014, he founded The Invictus Games Foundation, which hosts sporting events for injured servicemen and women.

This visit continues his efforts since 2014, when the Invictus Games Foundation was established, according to entrepreneur Andriy Stavnytsky.

Prince Harry met with athletes who participated in this winter's games, offering his encouragement and support.

Additionally, he met British volunteer Eddie, who is undergoing rehabilitation in Ukraine, as well as 10-year-old Roman Oleksiy, one of the youngest competitors.

During the visit, Harry also toured an operating room where a complex surgery was being performed on a veteran to restore his hearing.

"This is my first visit to Ukraine, and it certainly won't be my last. It has been a tremendous honor to come here with the Invictus delegation and some of our athletes from the UK. I am amazed by the incredible rehabilitation and care provided at the Superhumans center," said Prince Harry.

Notably, he became the second royal family member to visit Ukraine after Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, who was in Kyiv last year.

"It's remarkable for someone who could pursue any career in the world to choose to dedicate themselves to supporting and encouraging wounded veterans. He spent several hours with us, and I believe that years from now, when all the world's wars are finally over, a sign in Lviv will read: 'Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, was here. A true Superhuman,'" added Stavnytsky.
