Due to the expansion of railway infrastructure on the Chop — Uzhhorod section, Ukrzaliznytsia has modified the routes of passenger trains traveling from Odesa, Poltava, and Kremenchuk to Mukachevo. This has affected trains headed further to Uzhhorod.
This was reported by the Odesa City Council.
Ukrzaliznytsia advises travelers to plan their trips to the Transcarpathian region in advance.
Passengers from Odesa can reach Uzhhorod via Lviv by taking train No. 12/11 Odesa — Lviv.
To assist passengers, Ukrzaliznytsia has launched pre-sale tickets for additional cars on trains No. 59/60 Kyiv — Uzhhorod and No. 45/46 Kharkiv — Uzhhorod, which will run through Lviv and Sambir.
Tickets are already on sale and can be easily purchased via the website, mobile app of Ukrzaliznytsia, or at the railway station ticket offices.
