In a bid to support Ukrainian Railways, which recently fell victim to a massive cyber attack, Ukrposhta has launched a unique stamp as part of the «Own Stamp» project.

This was announced by Ukrposhta, as reported by a correspondent of the Ukrainian Information Service.

The new postage stamp features an illustration by artist Alexander Nikityuk of the iconic glass in a glass holder, a timeless symbol of railway travel. Warm as a summer evening in a compartment and sturdy as railway tracks, this stamp serves as a reminder that true traditions cannot be broken by any attack.

While every passenger on Ukrainian Railways can enjoy the branded glass of tea during their journey, the number of stamps is limited.

Ukrainian Railways will randomly distribute 100 exclusive sheets featuring the legendary symbol among passengers who have written supportive messages to the railway workers via the feedback form in the app from the time of its recovery after the cyber attack until the return of the tickets lost due to the attack.

Each stamp comes with a special bonus — 1440 iron hugs. This is the distance of the longest railway route — Zaporizhzhia to Uzhhorod.

As a reminder, «hugs» are bonuses that passengers earn for their journeys when purchasing tickets through the Ukrainian Railways app. Thus, the more kilometers traveled, the more hugs can be exchanged for various bonuses and discounts from Ukrainian Railways and partners as part of the loyalty program «Iron Friends,» which will soon be revived.
