Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur summarized his two-day visit to the capital of Ukraine.

This information is reported by ERR and also covered by "European Truth".

During the trip, the minister discussed ways to enhance cooperation in defense and military support for Ukraine.

Accompanying the minister were representatives from over 30 Estonian defense industry companies.

At a special forum, these companies were able to connect with Ukrainian colleagues representing nearly 90 local defense companies and learn about each other's products.

"The strength of the Estonian defense industry lies in areas related to drones, technology, and intelligence. However, our entrepreneurs should not limit themselves to these areas – they should also explore opportunities for producing heavy weaponry and ammunition. We certainly have much to learn from the Ukrainians," Pevkur remarked.

He also emphasized that closer cooperation between the defense industries of both countries contributes to the security of both Estonia and Ukraine.

Recently, Ukraine provided a list of desired military equipment worth 100 million euros, which Estonia plans to swiftly procure from its domestic defense industry.

Moreover, at the end of February, Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine.
