Cardinal Konrad Krajevski, the envoy of the Pope, has brought four ambulances to Ukraine as part of a humanitarian mission.
This was reported by the Holy See’s press service on April 7, according to "European Truth".
The ambulances, featuring the Vatican’s emblem, were brought to Ukraine with the help of three Ukrainian drivers, as stated in the announcement.
It is noted that the vehicles are "fully equipped with medical supplies necessary for saving lives".
The Holy See did not specify when and where the vehicles were delivered.
This marks the tenth mission of Cardinal Krajevski to Ukraine for humanitarian aid. During one of his previous trips in September 2022, he was caught in a Russian shelling.
Last year, Pope Francis stated that Ukrainians and Russians are "distant relatives" who need to "understand each other".
