Kyiv has been gifted three new generators with capacities of 88, 110, and 128 kW, along with a mobile boiler rated at 1455 kW from its sister city, Copenhagen. This information was shared by the city's mayor, Vitali Klitschko, on his Telegram channel.
“This is yet another batch of humanitarian aid from our European partners. Three generators with capacities of 88, 110, and 128 kW, along with a mobile boiler with a capacity of 1455 kW, have arrived in Kyiv from Copenhagen,” he stated. “In the face of the energy crisis, these power sources will help enhance the resilience of critical facilities, social institutions, and residential buildings.”
The mayor expressed gratitude for this incredibly necessary assistance to the sister city of Copenhagen, the entire Danish people, and the charitable foundation Bevar Ukraine.
It is worth noting that in February, Kyiv received its first batch of support — 177 generators from the European Union. This included 135 power sources of 20 kW and 42 generators of 22 kW. The city plans to use them primarily for connecting to individual heating points in buildings where possible.
