In Switzerland's Davos, the 56th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) is taking place with over 100 heads of state and government in attendance. This year's theme is "The Spirit of Dialogue".
The event, running until January 23, 2026, will explore how to restore international collaboration amidst global challenges and increasing tensions between nations.
"Modern cooperation models can open up new opportunities even if traditional notions of security and global integration have changed," the organizers stated.
Additionally, the forum will focus on investing in human capital, developing a resilient workforce, and enhancing quality of life in rapidly changing conditions.
Approximately 3,000 participants from over 130 countries are expected, including 400 political leaders and 850 top business executives, analysts, and representatives from civil society.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiga confirmed that the country will be represented by a high-level delegation, with meetings planned with U.S. officials.
