The renowned American magazine Forbes has released its list of the top 100 most influential women in the world for 2025. The list is available on the magazine's website.
Leading the ranking is Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission. In second place is Christine Lagarde, the head of the European Central Bank.
Completing the top three is Sanae Takaiichi, who recently became the first female Prime Minister of Japan.
Other notable figures in the top ten include Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, CEO of Accenture Julie Sweet, CEO of General Motors Mary Barra, CEO of Citi, CEO of Fidelity Investments Abigail Johnson, and CEO of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) Lisa Su.
Notably, the globally recognized American pop singer Taylor Swift ranks 21st on the list.
Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė is in 81st place.
The ranking concludes with the women from the American animated fantasy musical film "Demon Slayer: Cape Huntresses".
According to Forbes, as of December 2025, the film has been viewed over 325 million times, becoming the most popular film in Netflix history.
Additionally, on April 16, Time magazine published its list of the 100 most influential people in the world for 2025.
