Today, American pastor Mark Burns shared a photo from a military hospital, surrounded by Ukrainian soldiers. The exact timing of his visit remains unclear.
On his X account, Burns captioned the photo "Glory to Ukraine" along with the hashtag "spiritual diplomacy". He has visited Kyiv several times.
Pastor Mark Burns is an American evangelical leader and politician who supported Donald Trump in the elections. He has run for Congress multiple times but faced defeats. In 2016, the influential magazine Time called him "Trump's top pastor" and included him in the list of "16 people who influenced the 2016 presidential election".
In April 2025, at the invitation of Ukraine's Chief Rabbi Moshe Reuven Asman, Burns came to Ukraine, as reported by the BBC. He visited liberated cities in the Kyiv region and engaged with religious leaders.
Initially, he was critical of aiding Ukraine, but later he changed his stance and now actively advocates for Ukrainian interests.
