Six active units of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense have received a new aid package from an anonymous benefactor in the Netherlands. The GUR reported this on social media.
The package includes over 700 Hatsan MKA1919 and MAVKA MKA1919 shotguns, 130 Holosun Enclosed HS512C-RD and Holosun Paralow HS403B collimator sights, which are unaffected by external light and weather conditions, as well as 20,000 rounds of ammunition.
The commander of the “Artan” unit, known by the call sign “Titan”, noted that the delivered shotguns are effective against low-flying enemy drones.
“This weapon has become a crucial tool in combating aerial threats, especially in close combat. Although the benefactor's name remains undisclosed, we are sincerely grateful for this gesture of support. In times of full-scale war against Russian aggression, any targeted assistance is a manifestation of solidarity,” emphasized Titan.
The aid has already been dispatched to the fighters of the GUR special units “Artan”, “Arei”, KRAKEN, “Shamanbat”, the International Legion, and the “Vikings” group.
The total value of the provided assistance amounts to 350,000 euros.
The transfer of equipment was facilitated by the charity organization “Collective Aid and Logistics” and the international fund Ukraine Aid Operations. The supply was carried out through the military trading platform ORKOV.NET.
