A new financial support initiative has been launched in Ukraine, called “Winter Support”. All citizens currently in the country can apply for a one-time payment of 1000 UAH. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko on her Telegram channel.
"We are launching the “Winter Support” program — opportunities to help Ukrainians get through the winter season", she stated.
From November 15, applications can be submitted through the "Dii" app. "After submitting, you will receive confirmation of your application processing and payment order. Funds will be credited to the "National Cashback" card by December 24, 2025", the message reads.
The funds can be used for utility payments, purchasing medicines, food, books, and also for charitable contributions or postal services.
The money must be used by June 30, 2026.
Starting November 18, funds can be received through "Ukrposhta". Pensioners and social benefit recipients will automatically receive 1000 UAH on their designated accounts.
The funds can be spent until December 25 on Ukrainian-made products available through JSC "Ukrposhta", as well as for services provided through Ukrposhta branches, including postal services and utility payments.
"This initiative is part of a comprehensive package of measures implemented by the Government under the President's directive to support people during the challenging winter period amid war", Svyrydenko emphasized.
