On the night of November 14, an air alert lasted over 5 hours in the capital due to enemy aggression. More than 19,500 people, including 1,200 children, took refuge in metro stations. This was reported by Kyiv Metro.
All 46 underground stations in the city are operational for shelter 24/7.

To ensure safety and comfort while on the stations at night, it is advised to bring:

  • warm clothing, blankets, and mats, as the average temperature in the shelter is around 17–18°C, and drafts may occur;
  • personal medications and a bottle of water;
  • hygiene products (wet and dry wipes);
  • for pet owners — pads and bags.

The Kyiv Metro encourages citizens to consider the comfort of others and to be respectful.
