Memorial for Airborne Assault Forces Unveiled in Kyiv

A memorial honoring the Airborne Assault Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was unveiled in Kyiv, symbolizing gratitude for their bravery.

On November 8, a memorial dedicated to the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was ceremonially unveiled in Kyiv, at the Alley of Defenders near the Arch of Freedom.
The ceremony was attended by the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Andriy Hnatov, and the commander of the Airborne Assault Forces, Brigadier General Oleg Apostol.
This memorial serves as a symbol of society's gratitude to the airborne troops for their courage, resilience, and self-sacrifice in the fight for Ukraine's independence. A chaplain representative blessed the new monument.
