The national postal operator Ukrposhta has secured the top position in Europe for the quality of international deliveries, according to the latest monitoring report by the Association of European Public Postal Operators, PostEurop. The findings were presented during a meeting in Luxembourg.
Back in 2019, when Ukrposhta was just beginning to expand its international EMS services, it ranked 146th in the world. Now, it stands as the clear leader in its field across the continent.
“The postal network is a vital link connecting people. Despite the ongoing war, our national operator is not only maintaining but actively developing its infrastructure. This is a unique case where a country at war demonstrates such high achievements. This year, Ukrposhta has already received the Rising Star international award and has entered the top three postal operators globally in terms of growth rates. We are grateful to all postal workers who operate under challenging conditions, fulfilling their duties amid shelling and blackouts. They are achieving remarkably important results for our country,” stated Andriy Bratush, Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine.
According to PostEurop, the key quality indicators in various categories are as follows:
- EMS (international express delivery of documents and parcels) — 1st place among 23 countries with a score of 99.89%.
- Prime Express and Prime Tracked, which reflect the quality of tracking and priority processing — 100% and 1st place among 20 and 8 countries respectively. This indicates that Ukrposhta flawlessly meets the Universal Postal Union's requirements for data transmission and delivery times.
- UPU Tracked (tracked international shipments) — 5th place with a result of 97%.
The PostEurop study covered the period from February to August 2025 and included postal operators from 23 European countries.
