On November 14, 2025, the charity event “Pajama Day” organized by the “Ronald McDonald House Foundation in Ukraine” invites all Ukrainians to wear pajamas at home, work, or school and make a donation to support families with seriously ill children.
Participants will have the chance to win various prizes, including a television, smartphone, gaming console, charging station, and certificates from partners. The project team announced this on the Район.Медицина website.
The funds raised will assist in constructing the first Ronald McDonald House in Ukraine, set to open at the 'Okhmatdyt' hospital by 2027. This house will provide a haven for families whose children undergo long-term treatment, featuring 50 comfortable rooms, a kitchen, and play areas, ensuring that families feel at home even while in the hospital.

- Make any charitable donation towards the construction of the Ronald McDonald House from November 3 to November 16, indicating your Instagram nickname, name, surname, and phone number in the comment.
“Pajama Day is a reminder that care and presence of loved ones are crucial for recovery. Every November we wear pajamas to support children for whom pajamas are not just nightwear, but everyday hospital clothing. Thanks to everyone's kindness, we are starting the construction of the first Ronald McDonald House in Ukraine - 3,500 square meters of care, where young patients can stay close to their parents. Our goal is to ensure no child faces illness alone,” said Halyna Solovey, director of the Foundation.
This year marks the fifth annual Pajama Day across Ukraine, with previous funds helping to establish Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in children's hospitals in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Lviv, Rivne, and Kharkiv.
Prizes in the raffle include donations from partners such as COMFY, McDonald's, INTERTOP Ukraine, GUNIA Project, robota.ua, and more.
